Talking to villagers daily gives +20 friendship points. You can give two gifts per week per villager, plus a bonus gift on their birthday.
Marriage Requirements
Reach 8 hearts, give a bouquet to start dating, then reach 10 hearts. Upgrade your house and buy a Mermaid's Pendant from the Old Mariner.
